I recently attempted to enter a contest to see who would draw the next superfogey's Origin comic featuring Spy Gal over at www.superfogeys.com
I ended up not being able to finish but this is what I did. Super Fogeys is a really well done webcomic, go check it out.
This is Spy Gal, She's really cool.
Below is a short comic trying to show
my story telling ability.

These are my drawings of My superhero and his villains for a contest cw11 and the Seattle Art institute is putting on. I didn't post all of these cause I was strapped for time when I colored them. But vote for me if I make it to the final 20. cw11 animation hero contest

This is the mix. He can become colorful clay or lard was the real inspiration. I think I should of just left him one color like red. but too late now.

Mistress Element is my least favorite villain. She just didn't look right I went through a couple different designs for her and still she just doesn't work for me. Her power was to control all the elements: Earth, Fire, Water, Wind.

MissTic is the magic user. I like the idea of her being completely insane. My original concept was much more mild but I like this one better.

Magi here is just plain cool. He turned out really well I think.

Dr. Ender is a very cool villain. I did his design rather quickly.

Block Head here is my favorite bad dude. I just wanted a big guy for the villains, and thought hey I need a robot too. So here he is.
Cosmic-Man here is the hero. I had a lot of trouble getting him to look right, and I'm still not 100% satisfied with him, but hey that's what dead lines are for right? When I first thought him up he worked so well in my head, but When I tried to draw him it just got really frustrating. But I do like him.

Hero Contest

BLOCK HEAD

This is a villain I made up for a contest I'm entering. I've done several but he's my favorite I think.

This is the Valentine I did for my girl friend. She really liked it. It was fun to do and turned out rather well I think.
I used markers for the Castle Crashers cover and colored pencils for the inside.

Sarge

This is the Character that has given me the most trouble over all, he just won't look right, however the last one here is my favorite of him so far.

These are some concepts for his robot arms, which is one of the reasons he's given me the most trouble.

This is more of the same from the story below.

Inked Vim drawings

Here they are inked. Now when I say "inked" it really isn't liked finished quality inking. These are from my sketchbook, so what I did was just take Micron pens #8,#5, and sometimes #3, and go over the blue pencil with them. I don't erase, and even come back with the blue pencil to darken certain things.

These are characters from a story idea I have about super-powered beings in space, with space ships and everything. No aliens though, like 'em but they've been done to death. (plus I have a lot of other stories that feature aliens very prominently )
